DIY Tzatziki Dip
We love tzatziki dip and we make it quite frequently. We eat it in sandwiches, chicken burgers, home made souvlakis and of course, as a dip with potato chips (both dried and hot), Greek pitas, cucumber and yes, it's yummy with celery.
Ingredients
1 big tub of Greek yogurt
1 cucumber
6 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of vinegar
Salt to taste
Method
Put yogurt in an appropriate sized container.
Peel the skin of the cucumber and use the coarse surface of a box grater to grate the cucumber (get rid of cucumber liquid with paper towels).
Crush garlic cloves with a garlic press.
Now, simply put all ingredients in yogurt and mix with a fork.
Cover and put in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour.
Enjoy''
