In order for a scarf to make your outfit even cuter, you have to know how to wear one. Yeah, you can just drape it around your neck and call it a day.... or, you could tie it in a cool knot or you don't even have to wear it on your neck at all! There are so many options. Here are a few style tips on how to wear and tie scarves for any season and look ....

Materials:
1 old T-shirt (the bigger the better)
1 pair of scissors
1 ruler
Steps:
1. Start with a large T-shirt. Any old shirt will do. Seamless is a plus.
2. Cut off the bottom hem of the shirt. Then cut 1 in - 2 in wide strips horizontally across the shirt from bottom to armpit. You can cut as many strips as you would like (I liked my thick strips the most). The more strips, the more strands your scarf will have. You can use a ruler to guide a straight line across the shirt, but don't worry if they aren't perfect.
3. Set the bottom hem aside. Stretch all of the remaining strips until they become ling, and the raw edges start to roll inwards.
4. Cut one end of the bottom hemline so it becomes a string.
5. Using the strip of bottom hemline, knot it around the strands to secure them in place.
6. Wrap the strip a few inches around the center of the scarf, and back over to meet the other ends. Knot the ends together tightly.
7. Trim the loose ends and tuck the knot underneath the wrapped fabric.
Here is a DIY guide on how to tie a draped skirt. I've used an old scarf from H&M, but if you have an old piece of jersey, it's just fine. My scarf is 75 cm wide after I folded it on the middle and 2,5 m long. You have to tie it as tight as possible, so it stays in place. Finally you place a hairpin on top your closure, to make sure it won't fall off when you're going crazy on the dance floor!

Materials:
Lay your t-shirt flat, taping down the edges. Cut a line straight across just above the bottom hem and just below the sleeves or the armpit. This will form the actual scarf so try and make the cut edges as smooth as possible. Dip your pouncer in the paint colour of your choice and start dotting.
Stamp your first row spaced however you'd like, then make the next row alternated from the first. Repeat this step until one whole side of the scarf is pattered.
